Prevalencia y signos radiológicos en pacientes con obstrucción intestinal en el Hospital Pacífica Salud (2028-2023).

Esta investigación fue diseñada sobre un enfoque cuantitativo y con profundidad analítica, basado en los datos obtenidos del Radiology Information Sysmtem (RIS) de radiografías abdominales del Hospital Punta Pacífica. Se recurrió a la implementación de un diseño no experimental, retrospectivo. El objetivo de esta investigación es analizar la prevalencia y signos radiológicos en pacientes con obstrucción intestinal en el Hospital Pacífica Salud (2018-2023). Para la obtención de datos se utilizó estudio descriptivo de corte retrospectivo con enfoque cuantitativo, a partir de la técnica de observación de los registros de pacientes que conformaron una muestra de 333 casos femeninos y masculinos mayores de 18 años de edad, desde el año 2018 al 2023. En donde, esta información se recolectó en la plataforma forms para luego proceder a sus debidas tablas y gráficas. Se obtuvo como resultado que la prevalencia de la misma fue del 5% por cada 100 personas para el periodo del 2018 al 2023. El sexo con mayor prevalencia fue el femenino con un 56% y un 44% en pacientes masculinos. El grupo etario con mayor prevalencia fueron los pacientes con un rango de edad entre 30 a 49 años, dando un total de 112 pacientes, lo que da un 34%, por otro lado, los adultos mayores a 70 años en adelante no se quedan atrás con un 31%, dando un total de 103 pacientes. Los hallazgos radiológicos más frecuentes en esta investigación fueron dilatación intestinal dando un 45%. En el segundo puesto, el signo radiológico sería un abundante contenido propio del colon dando un 34% y en el tercero se encuentran los niveles hidroaéreos dando un 12%. Abstract This research was designed on a quantitative approach and with analytical depth, based on the data obtained from the Radiology Information Sysmtem (RIS) of abdominal radiographs of the Punta Pacífica Hospital, it was resorted to the implementation of a non experimental design, retrospective. The gender with the highest prevalence was female with 56% and 44% in male patients. The age group with the highest prevalence were patients aged 30 to 49, giving a total of 112 patients which gives 34%; on the other hand, adults over 70 years are not left behind with 31% giving a total of 103 patients. The most frequent radiological findings in this research were intestinal dilatation giving 45%, in the second place, the radiological sign would be an abundant content of the colon giving 34% and the third is the hydroaerial levels giving 12%.
